Leca plant is istablished in 1981. Our production is light expanded clay aggregates 350 000 m3 / year and 35000000 pieces of ceramic blocks per year. Leca consists of small, lightweight, bloated particles of burnt clay. The thousands of small, air-filled cavities give leca its strength and thermal insulation properties. The base material is plastic clay which is extensively pretreatd and heated and expanded in a rotary kiln. Finally, the product is burned at 1100c to form the finished leca product.
